BREAUX BRIDGE - Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 13, 2014, at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Rickey Francis Landry, 59, who passed away Monday, September 8, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 am Saturday.

Rev Peter Emusa will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Kenisha Amar and Chelsea Stewart. Gift Bearers will be Aalaiyah A'Nae Batiste and Kaymie Mavelyn Landry. Interment will follow at St Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.

Rickey enjoyed dancing and horse racing. He cherished moments spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by wife, Sheila Landry of Breaux Bridge; sons, Bradford Landry of Breaux Bridge and Rickey Lindon of Lafayette; brothers, Lester Landry, Jr and wife, Mary of Breaux Bridge and Michael Landry of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Shirley Guidry of Breaux Bridge, Rose Mercier of Breaux Bridge, Norma Dural and husband, John of Breaux Bridge, Juanita Carter and husband, Greg of San Francisco, California, Nancy Landry of San Francisco, Laura Pitte and husband Leo of Breaux Bridge, Joann Stewart and husband, Leo of San Francisco, California, Kathy Johnson Joseph of Breaux Bridge; and sisters-in-law Tammy Landry and Debra Landry both of Breaux Bridge.

He is preceded in death by father Lester Landry, Sr; mother Mary LeBlanc Landry, grandparents Elbie and Willie LeBlanc and Aspie and Adam Landry; brother Larry Landry; sister, Vesta Mae Landry; niece Thetra Mercier; nephew Ronnie Landry; and brothers-in-law Edward Mercier, Jr, Carson Guidry, and Alvin Henry.

Pallbearers will be Coddie Noel, Ricky Lindon, Edward Mercier Jr, Terry Landry, Lyle Pitte, and Khristian Chiles.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bradford Landry, Noah John, Michael Landry, Lester Landry, Jr., Patrick Domonoter, Leo Pitte, Leadrick Pitte, Melvin LeBlanc, Manuel Pitte, Mitch Blair and Steve Amar.
