Civil War Confederate
September 10, 1842 - September 22, 1930
He enlisted March 8, 1862 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. The company muster roll for November-December 1863 showed him as on furlough. On June 15, 1864, he was wounded and sent to a hospital in Forsythe, Georgia. His name later appeared on a Roll of Prisoners Of War after the Confederate Army surrendered in New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 26, 1865. He was paroled in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 17, 1865.
