LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Albert "Joe" Martin, 64, who died January 6, 2017 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Services will be conducted by Fr. Sebastian Myladiyil, SVD.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alveldria C. "Evette" Martin; one daughter, Ayesha K. Martin; one son, Bryson J. Martin, both of Lafayette, LA; one sister, Edna Martin Polk; two brothers, Nolan P. Martin (Brandy) and Rodney Martin, all of Lafayette, LA; one aunt, Cora Zeno Broussard of Lafayette, LA; one uncle, John (Verlie) Collins of Riverside, CA; two brothers-in-law, Osborne C. Johnson of Alexandria, LA and Sessil Trepagnier, Sr. (Vickie) of Bossier City, LA; sister-in-law, Belando A. Johnson of Kew Gardens, NY; mother-in-law, Edna Bea J. Woodard of Alexandria, LA; two goddaughters, Marquisha Boyd and Darrelyn Boudreaux, both of Lafayette, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, caring friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Joseph "Zack" Martin and Corine Zeno Martin and his aunt, Rita Zeno Daigle.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church from 7:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
