Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Syrie Funeral Home for Jordan Potier, Jr, 7, who died June 13, 2017 at Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Jordan Potier, Jr was born January 17, 2010 to Shawnterria Dugas and Jordan Potier, Sr. He was a resident of Maurice, Louisiana where he attended first grade at Cecil Picard Elementary School.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Shawnterria Dugas; his father, Jordan Potier, Sr; his little sister, Tylaysiah Husband; maternal grandparents, Anthony Chargois and Melissa Dugas; paternal grandparents, Dari Chere Alex (Benjamin) and Patrick Williams; maternal great grandmother, Patsy Dugas; paternal great grandmother, Shirley Potier. He also leaves behind four maternal aunts, Jacarrie Dugas, Charissa Dugas, Shira Prejean (Ezekiel), Jakylah Chargois and uncle, Bryson Chargois; four paternal aunts, Kendra Potier, Desiree Potier, Jandi Potier and Ashley Potier.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Abel Dugas, Jr; great uncle, Douglas Dugas; cousin, DeKeithan “Ke-Ke” Dugas; paternal great grandfather, Alfred Joseph Potier, Sr and great aunt, Lucy Wilson.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
