Rolls from May, 1862 to February, 1863 Present. Roll for May and June, 1863, Absent on detached service, Special Orders Number 63, General Adams, as teamster. Roll for July and August, 1863, Deserted July 29, 1863. near Morton, Mississippi. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War, Captured Adams County, Mississippi, November 2, 1864. Received at New Orleans, Louisiana November 21, 1864, from Natchez, Mississippi. Transferred to Ship Island, Mississippi, December 13, 1864. On Roll of Prisoners of War, confined at Ship Island, Mississippi, who have made application to take the Oath of Allegiance. Indorsement shows Received (O C G P), February 7, 1865. Transferred to Vicksburg, Mississippi, May 1, 1865. Paroled at Camp Townsend, May 6, 1865.
