September 27, 1967 - December 15, 1999
AMITE - Funeral arrangements have been completed for Carolyn Sue McGinness, age 32, who died Wednesday at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. A native of Bogalusa and resident of Amite for five years, she was a member of Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bogalusa and was currently attending First Baptist Church in Amite.
Visitation will be at the Brown-McGehee Funeral Home today from 5 - 9 p.m., continuing tomorrow after 11 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
The Rev. David Fortenberry, pastor of First Baptist Church in Amite and the Rev. John Kittrell, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, will officiate with interment to follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Mason Scott McGiness; her mother, Betty Lou Griffin McGinness of Bogalusa; two brothers, Clifton Lee McGinness of New Orleans and Thomas Steve McGinness of Columbia, South America.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rufus R. (Mack) McGinness.
