Kin Of Local People Dies In Bogalusa
Circy V.Herrington,59,died at his home in Bogalus,La.
April 24. His death was sudden and came as a great shock to his family and friends.
Mr.Herrington was a well-known,highly-respected citizen of Bogalusa where he had resided for the past 21 years. Until a year and a half ago he had been a driver for White Eagle Bus Line and since then had been employed as ticket agent at Bogalusa.
He was married to the former Miss Lola Willoughby of this county.
Mr.Herrington was reared at Bunker Hill and lived there for many years.He was a member of the Superior Avenue Baptist Church in Bogalusa and was a Mason.
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Poole's Funeral Home in Bogalusa at two 0'clock Sunday afternoon, April 26, with interment in a Bogalusa cemetery.
Survivors include,in addition to his widow,one son,Earl Herrington of Bogalusa;four daughters Misses Lucy Lee and Virrginia Mae Herrington and Mrs.Curtis Hudspeth,all of Bogalusa and Mrs.Kenneth Stoltz of Illinois,two sisters Mrs.Gazzie Ryals of Columbia and Mrs.Jesse Conerly of Bunker Hill and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Walter Foreman,of Columbia.
