Elizabeth Gertrude "Sis" Harvey, age 80, of Franklinton, died Saturday, June 14 at Gulf States LTAC in Bogalusa. She was born Jan. 2, 1928 in Lewisville, Ark. and grew up in Hope, Ark. She moved to Bogalusa since 1940, and graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1946. She was employed by G.E. Thomas Auto Parts and Lindsley-Feiber Motors, then moved to Bay St. Louis, Miss. where she worked for another auto dealership. She returned to Bogalusa to retire.
She is survived by one brother, James Harvey of Bogalusa; one sister, Yvonne Harvey Robertson of Bogalusa; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Louise Harvey of Bogalusa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, I.G. Harvey and Sarah Rebecca Bobo Harvey; three brothers, Mack, Frank and Robert Harvey and one nephew, Gregory Harvey.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. on Monday June 16, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Clay Norwood officiated, with interment following in Ponemah Cemetery.
