Danny Ray Augustine, age 60, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away October 8, 2010 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA.
He was a U. S. Army Veteran. He worked for Temple-Inland for over 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, LA. Member of Magic City American Legion Post #24 and a member of MCCA, Centaurs.
He is survived by His Wife, Ramona B. Augustine of Bogalusa, LA; 1 Daughter, Tamara Lee Augustine (Mark) Meredith of Bogalusa, LA; 1 Son, Danny Ray Augustine, II of Bogalusa, LA; His Mother, Wilma Lee M. Augustine of Bogalusa, LA; 1 Sister, Carolyn Augustine (Robbie) Miller of Bogalusa, LA; 1 Brother, Daryl (Janice) Augustine of Bogalusa, LA; 2 Grandchildren, Brianna Reilly Augustine-Meredith and Drew Augustine-Meredith; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and other close family members.
He is preceded in death by His Father, Kenneth Ambrose Augustine; 1 Brother, Kenny Augustine.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. until the Funeral Services at 4:00 P.M. The Rev. Bob Adams will officiate with Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery on Monday, October 11, 2010.
