ROBERT JOE "NOOKIE" MAGEE, AGE 81
A native of Sunny Hill and resident of Franklinton died Monday, December 8, 2008 at his residence.

He was a retired supervisor with Southern Natural Gas, El Paso; a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a member of Franklinton Masonic Lodge #101, the Homer Magee Post of American Legion and was a past president of Franklinton Country Club.

Survived by: Wife of 45 years: Sue Crain Magee of Franklinton

Brothers and sisters in law: Hillary J. and Mary Crain of Bogalusa, Barry and Paulette Crain of Alexandria, Carolyn Magee of Baton Rouge, Lou Magee of Henderson, TX

Numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin J. and Pearl Parker Magee, siblings Theodore J. "Joe" Magee, D.D. "Sleepy" Magee, Leslie V. "Red" Magee, Willis D. "Bill" Magee, Hubert L. "Eli" Magee, Frank C. Magee, Marvin J. "Toby" Magee, Kathleen M. Johnson and Adelle M. Alford.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home after 9 AM Thursday, December 11, 2008 until time for the funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Luther Stanford and Dr. Gene Richards officiating. Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
