Funeral services for Thomas C. Hubbard, 83, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home at 1:00 PM until service time.
Thomas was born December 14, 1934 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on November 17, 2018 in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Denise Hubbard; granddaughter, Heather Nicole Young; and brothers, Gene Hubbard, Marshall Hubbard, and Jerry Hubbard.
Thomas was a member of Swartz First Baptist Church. He was retired from Borden’s Milk Company after 40 years and then continued for 7 years as a consultant. Thomas also was employed by Don Cies Realty, Oschner LSU Medical Center in Monroe, and also as a part-time employee at Home Depot. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Tomlinson Hubbard; children, Kathryn Ann Young and husband Curtis, Tommy Hubbard and wife Patty, Mollie Diane Hubbard, and Mandy Bobo and husband Ron; grandchildren, Zach, Justin, Noah, Jacob, Miranda, Stacy, and Nathan; brother, Dale Hubbard; sisters, Patsy Cobb, Dorothy Gayle Whitaker, and Sharon Little; and great-grandchildren, Heather, Henry, Katherine, Caroline, and Lorene.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Young, Zach Young, Noah Hubbard, Tommy Hubbard, Keith Hubbard, and Danny Cobb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Hudson, Dale Hubbard, and Stretch Scott.
