Services for Teresa Jane Stamper, age 53 of Covelo, California will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007 from the Cross Roads Baptist Church west of Grayson with Rev. Tommy Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Roads Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
Ms. Stamper died Friday, October 26, 2007 at her residence. She was a secretary. She attended Caldwell Parish Schools.
She was preceded in death by her son: Billy Angelo Thornton, her paternal grandparents: Willie and Eula Stamper and her maternal grandparents: Oscar and Mary Silacci.
Survivors include her father and step-mother: W.O. and Bonnie Stamper of Olla, her mother: Albina Silacci Stamper of Covelo, CA, her step-sister: Sherrie Bruce of Olla and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Stamper, Ronnie Stamper, Douglas Stamper, Michael Sullivan, Cody Sullivan, Charlie Chisolm, Randy Frye.
Honorary pallbearers are Alson Taylor, Curtis McNaughton and James Westbrooks.
Visitation will be Friday after 5 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church, Hwy 126 West, Grayson, LA.
