And a resident of Franklinton died at 6:00 AM Thursday, July 3, 2008 at his residence.
He was Methodist.
Survived by: Loving wife of 25 years: Christina Jarrell Goar of Franklinton, 1 Daughter: Charlotte Minor of Hattiesburg, MS, 2 Sons: Alton Cooper of Franklinton, Kenneth D. Davis of Bogalusa, 10 Grandchildren, 2 Brothers: Roy Goar of Baywood, LA, Travis Martin of Franklinton, 2 Sisters: Alice Bailey of Denham Springs, Carol Sue Martin of Franklinton
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Ola Martin, 1 brother Edward E Martin and 2 sisters Regina Husser and Penny Owens.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 6 PM until 9PM Saturday, July 5, 2008 and after 8 AM Sunday, July 6, 2008. A funeral will be held in the funeral will be held at 1 PM Sunday, July 6, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stan Statham officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Cemetery.
