October 20, 1951 - October 21, 1999
Bruce Osbon Strahan, age 48, a native of Franklinton and a resident of Rock Spring, GA, died at 9 a.m. Thursday in Erlanger Hospital in Chatanooga, TN. He was a former Washington Parish Deputy Sheriff under
late Sheriff Willie J. Blair and was currently employed by World Wide Turbine. He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist church in Franklinton.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mae Strahan Riley and Donnie Riley of Franklinton; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Brenda Strahan of Franklinton; and extended family members, Rex and Kim Hairston,
Blake, Kelsey, Keely and Kerri of Chatanooga, TN; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father , Osborn Strahan. Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and after 8 a.m.
Wednesday until time for the funeral service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Eld. Edward Penton and Eld. Gary Sumrall will officiate, with burial following in Springhill-Magee Cemetery, Franklinton.
