Graveside services for Larry Batson will be 10:00 AM June 23, 2015 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Larry was born May 2, 1964 in Monroe and passed away at home in Minden. He was a former worker at Manville in the boiler maintenance department. He served as a rifle marksman in the United States Marine Corp and graduated from Ouachita Parish High School. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Shirley Batson and a sister, Janet Lynn Batson.
Larry is survived by his son, David Batson and wife, Kati; four sisters, Kathy McFarland and husband Joseph, Peggy Hemphill and husband Patrick, Nancy King and husband Terry, and Ginny Keller; brother, Jerry Batson and wife, Melissa, and a host of nieces and nephews.
