Funeral services for Mrs. Darlene Frith Burford, 57, will be 2pm Monday at the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Dowdy officiating.

Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Burford was born on February 2, 1956 to the union of John W. and Dorothy Eloise Brown Frith and passed from this life in Lake Saint Louis, MO.

She was a native and past resident of West Monroe, retired equipment operator with the Guide Plant and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She had a passion for homeless animals and the joy of her heart was her grandson.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her daughter Jennifer Kelly and companion Josh Dowdy and his sons Jacob and Garrett; her companion Eddie Baliant and his daughter Melissa; her mother Eloise Frith; her sister Susan Hennen and husband Jerry; her grandson Jacob Kelly; her nephew Gary Don Blazier; her canine companion Abbott; also survived by other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Devon Yates, Mitchell Yates, David Faulk, Lynn Faulk, Gary Don Blazier, and Brian Boyer.
Darlene loved and was loved by all that knew her.

She was a cherished daughter, a loving mother, a precious sister, a wonderful aunt, a doting Nana, and a friend to so many.

Memorials preferred to Animal Shelter of West Monroe.

Visitation for friends will be Sunday 6pm until 9pm.
