Funeral services for Stan Beeson, 64, a nursing home owner will be 2 pm Saturday December 27, 2014 at Rayville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Darryl Tate officiating. Interment will follow in Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in Calhoun under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 am until time of services Saturday at the church.

He was born November 4, 1950 to Bill and Ayme Brunson Beeson in Homer and passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 24, 2014.

Mr. Beeson graduated from Pineville High School in 1969 and then attended Louisiana College where he received his Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. He also played Basketball at Louisiana College like his father and wife. He taught and coached at Tensas Academy and Franklin Academy.

He married Nannette Gill Beeson on September 8, 1979

Mr. Beeson was affiliated with Woodmen of the World, involved in commercial real estate, and partnered in the nursing home business.

Mr. Beeson had much love for the beach, lake and hunting club but he will be remembered for the great love he had for his family and the compassion and generosity he had for those around him. Mr. Beeson was a selfless man who was loved by so many.

He is preceded in death by his father William "Bill" Reid Beeson.

Survivors include his wife Nannette Beeson of Calhoun; two daughters: Ayme Francis Beeson Orwin and husband Rick of Stafford, VA; Aaron Faye Beeson of Calhoun; son Robert Scott Beeson of Ruston; mother Ayme Brunson Beeson of Pineville; sister Sherry Beeson Ernest; two grandsons Beeson "Beezy" McGuire Orwin and William "Liam" Reid Jordan; niece Ashley Claire Earnest of New York City, NY; mother-in-law Bonnie Sonnier Gill of Winnsboro; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Beeson, Gary Hays, Joey Hodnett, Ken Killen, Duke Marcus and Harvey Marcus.

Honorary pallbearers will be current and past members of Osceola Hunting Club.
