Mr. Leonard Elzy Tullos, age 71, of Columbia, La., died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia, La. Mr. Tullos was employed as a Offshore Oil Laborer and was a member of Catholic Church. He served in the United States Armed Forces during the Korean War. Mr. Elzy was responsible for the creation and the yearly task of managing the Marango Mud Ride which was visited by avid sports men & women from all over the nation. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was the son of the late Leonard Tullos and the late Bonnie Tullos. He was also preceded in death by his brother Audrey "Ruff" Tullos, Nephew - William "Dubby" Jacobs, neice Tywanne Tullos Lowentruitt and great neice Amy Nolan.

He is survived by his sister - Mrs. Urcelle (Tullos) Jacobs of Hebert, La. and her husband Dub; Sister-in-law - Mrs. Georgia Mott Tullos of Hebert; Brother - Mr. Aubrey Brad Tullos of Hebert, La. & his wife Pansy; Brother - Mr. Neal Tullos of Grayson, La. and his wife Marjorie; Nephew - Johnny Jacobs, Neice - Delena McKeithen, Neice - Lavon Beckley, Neice - Bonnie DeHaven, and Neice - Anna Tullos.

Funeral service will be at Riser Chapel, Columbia, La. at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 6, 2004 with Father Phillip De Jesus officiating. Internment to follow at Amity Cemetery.
