Funeral services for John Lamont Stephenson, Sr., 67, of West Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville with Bro. Prentis Gandy officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Rayville, LA.
Mr. John was born July 2, 1947 in Baskin, LA and passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Monroe, LA.
Mr. John was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife, Terrie Stephenson; parents, Thomas and Ruby Stephenson; and sons, Jason Stanley Stephenson and John Patrick Merrell.
Survivors include his children, Marsha Merrell of Mesa, AZ, Seth Stephenson and wife, Dora of Mesa, AZ, John Stephenson and wife, Melissa of West Monroe, and James Stephenson of Monroe; 10-grandchildren and 2-great grandchildren; 3-brothers and
3-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
