From Louisiana Archives ~ Landry, C (also borne on Rolls as Landry, Clairville), Private Company H, 18th Louisiana Infantry. Enlisted October 10,1862, Camp Pratt, Louisiana. Present on Roll for January & February, 1863. Roll for May & June, 1863,
Returned from Desertion, missing in action June 26, 1863. Roll for July & August, 1863, states Present. On Register of Prisoners of War, dated April 27, 1863, Captured Bayou Teche, Louisiana.,
April 14, 1863. Sent to New Orleans, Louisiana, to be exchanged. Also on Rolls of Company E, Consolidated 18th
Regiment. and Yellow Jacket Battalion Louisiana Infantry. Roll for January & February, 1864, states Present.
