Lacroix Cemetery
Rapides County,
Louisiana

From Pineville, go north on US Hwy 165 & turn right at traffic light in front of Proctor & Gamble plant. Go through the front gate of Camp Beauregard, & continue straight through the base (this is "F" Street) for a little over a mile. When you pass the helicopter landing strip, turn right between strip & new federal building. Go .6 miles, bearing to left after you cross small bridge. The road is dirt, but passable. Turn right on the only driveway that goes to the right, or walk from the road to the cemetery that cannot be seen from this spot.

There are only four marked burials inside a small picket fence (about 15' x 15') made of rough board lumber. The cemetery is maintained by the National Guard.
