Vic Crowe, 74, of Sarepta, LA died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Promise Hospital in Bossier City, LA. He was born August 15, 1939 in Brandon, TX to the late Otis Eugene and Carrie Elizabeth (Stephens) Crowe. He retired from Ark-La-Gas as a measurement tech and was a certified angus cattle rancher. He loved his garden, was a golfer, and enjoyed woodworking, especially building furniture. Vic is preceded in death by his parents and his 4 brothers Curtis Crowe, James Raymond Crowe, Gordon Crowe, and C.D. Crowe. He is survived by his wife Ann Crowe of Sarepta, LA; daughter Pam Anderson and fiancé Randy Dean of Springhill, LA; and grandson Michael Anderson and fiancé Cortney Watson of Sarepta, LA. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Friday, August 8th at the Springhill United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Crowe officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc, of Springhill, LA. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8PM at the funeral home. The family request that memorial donations be made to, Louisiana Methodist Children's Home P.O. Box 929 Ruston, LA 71273 PH# 318-255-5020. Pallbearers will be Steve Crowe, Gary Warford, Heath Warford, Kirby Warford, Louis George, and Myron Herrick.
