April 15, 1880 - December 1, 1965
Funeral services for R. L. Williams of Dubach, La., were held at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the Dubach Baptist Church. Robert Lee Williams, age 85, died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in the Lincoln General Hospital of Ruston, La., following a short illness. He was the brother-in-law of two El Dorado residents, Dr. G. D. Murphy, Sr., and O. B. Murphy. Williams was retired and was a Baptist. His survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Tom Jones of Arkadelphia, formerly of El Dorado, Mrs. J. V. Jones of Bastrop, La., and Mrs. R. L. Colvin of Dubach, La.; one son, R. L. Williams, Jr of Orange, Tex; five grand children and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services were officiated by Rev. D. A. Doughty at the Dubach Baptist Church and burial followed in the Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach. Services were under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, La.
