Henry Earl (Veteran WWII) SEPULVADO

Forest Park West Cemetery
Caddo County,
Louisiana

TECHNICAL FIFTH GRADE US Army
World War II
June 22, 1927 - April 2, 2014

I was born on June 22, 1927 in Zwolle, Louisiana to the parents of Henry Sepulvado and Ann Cortinez Sepulvado. I grew up with my brothers Frank, Leonard "Monk," Jimmy "Pinta," and my sister, Murrel-Ann "Shug" in a little community of Ebarb, Louisiana.

I joined the Army on September 24, 1945, and was on a troop ship to the Philippines when the war ended. I came back home and married the best looking girl in Zwolle, Francis Martinez. We had three beautiful children: Joyce, Tommy, and Jeff. I worked at Kholer Manufacturing Company for 32 years. When the plant closed, I began painting with my son, Jeff. We worked hard and soon found ourselves painting on projects such as the Strand Theatre and Scottish Rite Temple. I enjoyed playing music with my father, son, granddaughter, and many friends. We played together at many good family gatherings.

Henry "Earl" Sepulvado will be laid to rest with military honors for his service as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside from 5-7 PM on Friday, April 4, 2014 with a Rosary being said at 6:30 P.M. Funeral services honoring "Earl" will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 4736 Liba Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana at 10AM Saturday April 5, 2014. I will be laid to rest at Forest Park West Cemetery after the funeral services.

"Earl" is preceded in death by his father and mother, Henry and Ann Sepulvado, brothers, Frank and Monk Sepulvado, daughter, Joyce "Ann" Ebarb and son, Thomas "Earl" Sepulvado.

Left to share in his memories is his son Jeff Sepulvado and wife Evelyn, Grandchildren Ricky Ebarb, Thomas Sepulvado Jr, Christy Sepulvado, Donna Lemoines, Helen McKinney, April Lanier, Kimberly "Roxanne" Ramsey, their spouses and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

Serving with great pride as his pallbearers are Jack Lanier III, Clayton McKinney, Andrew Pilcher, Frankie Lemoines, Charles Lemoines, and Simmon Leone.

The family extends their deepest thanks and gratitude to Willis-Knighton South Intensive Care Unit for their excellent care of "Papa Earl." We also have a very special friend, Ms Dorothy Gore, who is a strong Christian woman. Ms Gore's never-ending love and care to our dad will never be forgotten. She will forever be loved and a part of our family.
