September 10, 1931 - October 14, 2012
SHREVEPORT, LA - Services celebrating the life of Billy Mack Dearing will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Mooringsport United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Robbin Haley. Interment will follow in Mooringsport Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home.
Billy Mack was born September 10, 1931 in Monroe, LA and passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012. He was a member of Mooringsport United Methodist Church. Billy Mack served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He was a Mason. Billy Mack was a Corrosion Engineer for Texas Eastern and retired from Reliant Energy.
His parents, one nephew, and two great nieces, preceded Billy Mack in death. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Dearing; sisters, Julia Nelson and Jane Roy; sister-in-law, Salvinia Moses; brother, Bobby L. Dearing; five nieces and one nephew; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Honoring Billy Mack, as pallbearers will be Jeffrey Nelson, Clint Allen, Carl Williams, John McKendree, Mike McGee, and Jim Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mooringsport United Methodist Church, or the charity of choice.
