Ms. Lois Marie Davis, age 93 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015.

Born Monday, August 22, 1921 in Oil City, Louisiana, she was a member of First United Methodist Church of Winnfield where she was a member of the Irene Woods Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Kisatchie Quilting Guild, Retired Teachers Association and AARP. She was formerly employed by Carey Salt Mine, Martin Hospital, Parkview Nursing Home and was retired from the Winn Parish School Board.

Ms. Davis and preceded in death by her Parents, Robert Lee Davis and Ada Gertrude Davis Clary; Step-Father, Homer Clary; Cousins, Charlie Mae Myers and Jack W. Myrick.

Those left to cherish her memory include her Cousins, Dianne Morgan and family of Hineston, LA, Lynne Tarver and husband John and family of Alexandria, LA and Alina Myrick and family of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by other relatives and numerous friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21 at Southern Funeral Home, from 11:00 AM until service time.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Southern Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Winnfield City Cemetery, in Winnfield.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kody Mathews, Chass Humphries, Kevin Stroud, and Kelly Myles.
