Inscription: Died in France interred in US November 18, 1920
Cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried in Grave #9, American Plot, in Mehun-sur-Yevre, France. He was disinterred September 2, 1920 for preparation and shipment home. He arrived in Hoboken, New Jersey, on October 18, 1920, and arrived in Florien, Louisiana, on November 17, 1920.
