Jeffrey Herbert Hammock age 49 of Belcher, LA passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM at First Baptist Church in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Dustie Dunn. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery (formerly Evans-Richie). The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6-8 pm Friday, April 22, 2011 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian.

Jeff was born July 22, 1961 in Atlanta, Texas. He has lived in the Belcher area for the past 10 years after moving from Silsbee, TX. He worked as a pipefitter out of Union #669. He enjoyed Hunting, especially rabbit hunting, and drinking coffee with Doyle Powell.

He is survived by his grandfather; Howard A. Hammock of Vivian, his wife, Sharon R. Moore of Sour Lake, TX, his Dads; Howard & Brenda Hammock of Vivian, Rodney and Rose Hoots of Nederland, TX and his Mother, Sandra Mobley Hoots of San Antonio, TX, his son; Briceson Hare and wife Gena of Silsbee, TX and grandson Colt and his daughter; Dawn Hare of Silsbee, TX. He is also survived by his sister, Kelly Craig of Bridge City, TX, his brothers; Kendall Hoots of San Antonio, Ronny Williams of Plain Dealing, LA, Tommy Hammock of Vivian, LA, Michael Hammock of El Dorado, AR, Brandon Williams of Vivian, Bryan Williams of Vivian, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his trusty dog Hoock.
