Funeral Services for Dr Alan Kyle Bozeman will be held at 10:30 am Monday, January 3, 2010 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, Louisiana officiated by Rev Mark Kennedy. Internment will follow in Vivian Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9-10:30 on Monday before the funeral service. Dr Alan Kyle Bozeman was born September 18, 1963 in Winnfield, Louisiana. He moved with his family to Vivian, Louisiana in 1975. He graduated from North Caddo High School as Co-Valedictorian in 1981. In 1984 he graduated from LSU-Shreveport and received a PhD in Mathematics from North Texas State in 1990. He worked as a Lottery Game Designer in various locations until 2007, and continued working from his home in Mooringsport, Louisiana until his death, January 30, 2010. He held 9 patents in his field. He is survived by his parents Martin and Donnis Bozeman of Vivian, Louisiana, 2 brothers Dr Craig Bozeman of Shreveport, Louisiana and Dr Caleb Bozeman of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also survived by his special sister-in-law Adrienne Bozeman of Shreveport, 2 nephews Max and Alex Bozeman and 3 nieces Isabella, Blythe and Sophia Bozeman and his maternal grandmother Alice Cornelia Pray of Winnfield, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Caleb Bozeman, Craig Bozeman, Max Bozeman, Brett Jennings, Alex Bozeman and Wayne Pray.
