PINE - Todd Cooper, age 44, a resident of Pine, Louisiana died Friday, May 4, at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was the owner and operator of C&M Grocery in Pine and a member of Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church. Cooper was a 22-year veteran of the Louisiana National Guard 205th Battalion in Franklinton, Louisiana.
He is survived by son Trevor Cooper of Franklinton; daughter Tyler Cooper of Franklinton; parents Billy Earl and Betty Thomas Cooper of Pine; brother and sister-in-law Chad and Jennifer Cooper of Pine; grandmother Lois Thomas of Pine; niece and nephew Jessica and Steven Scott Cooper of Pine; and special friend, Debra Turnage of Thoma, Louisianas.
Cooper is preceded in death by grandparents Houston Thomas, Houston "Scott" and Eva Thomas Cooper.
Visitation was held Saturday at Crain Funeral Home and will continue at noon today at Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church, where a funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm today. Elders Richard Magee, James Broome and Clyde Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow at Nobles Cemetery.
