SHREVEPORT, LA – Miss Annie Joanne Cush, 88, passed on Sunday, September 30, 2012, after a brief illness. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Osborn Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3rd, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Karl Daigle officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Miss Cush was a native of Dallas, TX and a resident of Shreveport since 1932. She was employed for Commercial National Bank and later Aulds, Horn and White. Annie was a true character who was a very wonderful sister and friend.
She is survived by her brother, Sam Cush; and special friends, Ruby Taylor, Alex DeDeaux and Jinny Lanoue.
Pallbearers will be Joseph A. Fertitta, Sr., Joseph A. Fertitta, Jr., Tony Fertitta, John David Fertitta, Sam Renda and Alex DeDeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph S. Cush and Duane Lanoue.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the donor’s choice.
